Synopsis: In the final days of King David’s reign, his eldest son, Adonijah, seeks to take the throne for himself. Adonijah forms an alliance with Joab, the commander of the army, and Abiathar, the priest, to gain support. However, Nathan the prophet, and Bathsheba, David’s wife, conspire to ensure that David’s chosen successor, Solomon, is crowned king. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, Solomon must navigate dangerous political waters to ensure his rightful place as king, while Adonijah prepares to fight for what he believes is rightfully his.
