Romans 5, oh let me see,
It tells of grace so rich and free.
Through Adam sin came to us all,
But Jesus Christ came to save us from the fall.
By faith in Him we are made right,
No longer blinded by sin’s dark night.
His love poured out, our hearts made clean,
We’re reconciled to God, now part of His team.
Through one man’s disobedience sin did abound,
But through Christ’s perfect obedience, redemption is found.
Just as sin reigned and death had its hold,
Now grace reigns and we have eternal life to behold.
In Romans 5, there’s lots to behold
It’s a chapter that’s worth being told
But don’t get confused
It’s not about shoes
Or sandals that aren’t made of gold!
Verse 1:
Yo, let me tell you ’bout Romans 5
The chapter where the word of God comes alive
Paul writing to the Romans ’bout salvation
Telling them to trust in God for their redemption
He said we’ve been justified by faith
Through grace we have a brand new slate
It’s not the good we do, it’s the love of Christ
That saves us from eternal life in strife

Our sins are forgiven, we have been set free

Paul said, “While we were still sinners”
Christ died for us, made us winners
