Hebrews six, so full of hope,
Our anchor firm, our steadfast rope.
Through faith and patience and God’s grace,
We run the race and win the race.
We learn of Christ, our High Priest true,
Who intercedes on behalf of you.
And though we face many a test,
We cling to hope and find our rest.
So let us press on and not grow faint,
But keep our eyes on Jesus, our great saint.
For in him we have our Source,
Our Savior, our eternal force.
There once was a book called Hebrews 6
But what it’s about, we just can’t fix
Some say it’s about apostasy
Others say it’s about something saucy
But we’ll just keep guessing and mix!
Verse 1:
Listen up y’all, gotta tell you ’bout Hebrews 6
It’s a chapter in the Bible, so don’t you dis
It’s all about growth, and moving on up
But if you don’t progress, then you gotta shut up
Verse 2:
You gotta move beyond, milk of the word
Don’t just repeat it, like some kind of bird
You gotta dig deep, and chew on the meat
If you wanna be strong, gotta stay on your feet
Verse 3:
But if you fall back, and turn away
And don’t repent, then you’re in dismay
You can’t be renewed, like those who grow
You can’t be saved, that’s just how it goes
Verse 4:
So keep on moving, keep on pressing
Don’t let the world, be too distressing
Stay focused on Him, the author of life
And you’ll find that peace, in the midst of strife
Verse 5:
So let’s make progress, following His lead
Don’t let the world, be the only feed
Grow in the Lord, and be all that you can
