One Kings seven verse one,
Speaks of a palace’s completion.
King Solomon’s grand creation,
A sight of great admiration.
Beautiful and grand,
Built upon firm land.
A house of cedar and stone,
Fit for a king’s throne.
In 1 Kings 7:1, it’s said
That Solomon’s house was quite spread
But with all its great size
It still couldn’t disguise
The fact that he had an odd-shaped head.

‘Bout the temple of the Lord, it was built so well,
Solomon was the king, and he had a vision,
To build a house for God, where His presence would be given.
