I am a letter of great power,
Yet misunderstood by many a scholar.
I speak of sin and grace divine,
Of righteousness that’s not of mine.
My words are sharp as a two-edged sword,
Piercing hearts with the truth of the Lord.
I teach of God’s wrath and his mercy too,
Of faith, works, and the chosen few.
Some see me as a book of condemnation,
But those who understand find salvation.
I tell of a God who loved the world,
And of his plan to save the broken and hurled.
Though I am often debated and contested,
My message rings true as a bell.
I am the book of Romans, in full,
Come and read my story, and be made whole.
