I’m always speaking truth, some pleasant and some grim,
My words are both poetry and prophecy, filled to the brim.
My message is clear, speaking for the poor and the oppressed,
Sharing God’s love, justice, and mercy, for every nation, east to west.
My words are timeless, uttered long ago,
But their power and wisdom, forever will glow.
From Bethlehem’s fields, to Nineveh’s walls,
These warnings and promises, can never fall.
My name is short, only four letters long,
One of the twelve prophets, but you’d never do wrong,
To pay attention and heed what I have to say,
For my message is eternal, and forever will stay.
What am I?
