I am a portion of a holy tome,
But one must delve deep to find my home.
Rules and laws are what I contain,
Guiding lives with words that remain.
My name comes from a priestly tribe,
And in my pages, one can describe
Sacrifices and offerings that were made,
For the Atonement of sins which they paid.
To understand my meaning, one must persist,
For my guidance is not always easy to enlist.
But those who seek, with an open mind,
Will find my teachings, wise and kind.
Though just a portion of a grand design,
I hold great power, and meaning divine.
So look to me, with true devotion,
For guidance in a life of emotion.
What am I?
