I am composed of five chapters,
In me, you’ll find love that endures,
But be warned, I am not for the rapturous,
For I speak of those who truly are pure.
My first is found in shrewdness and cunning,
While my second flows through all the nations,
My third is seen when we’re made new in something,
My fourth is the joy that comes with salvation.
My fifth is a love that reaches out,
Towards the ones we hate and toil about,
It’s patient, kind, and bears no doubt,
In this love we find a way to devout.
