Enigma Riddle:

I am a prophet, called by God’s voice,
To bring His message to Israel, it was my choice.
Though I was a shepherd and tended to sycamore trees,
God chose me to warn of His impending decrees.

My words were harsh and full of truth,
A message of judgement for those aloof.
I spoke of injustice and oppression,
And warned of the consequences of transgression.

Who am I, called by God’s hand,
To prophesy in Israel, to take a stand?

Conundrum Riddle:

In visions from God, I saw many things,
A swarm of locusts and drought on eagle wings.
I saw a plumb line, a basket of fruit,
And a roaring fire, with no escape route.

I saw the Lord standing by the altar,
And heard His voice, stern and somber.
I saw the destruction of Samaria and Judah,
And the punishment that would ensue, a harsher law.

What did I see, in these prophetic dreams?
What did they mean, these unsettling schemes?

Lateral Thinking Riddle:

To deliver God’s message, I used a fruit,
A visual aid, to make the truth take root.
I asked the people, "Do two walk together unless they agree?"
And then showed them my fruit, ripe as it could be.

I showed them a basket of summer fruit,
And warned them of their impending dispute.
I urged them to turn back to God’s ways,
To avoid the judgement that would come in days.

How did I use a fruit, to deliver God’s word?
What message did it send, that had to be heard?

Trick Riddle:

I spoke of justice, rolling down like waters,
An image that conjures up powerful slaughters.
But what I meant was not destruction and death,
But a world where justice and righteousness are met.

I spoke of those who trample on the poor,
And warned of the consequences that they’ll endure.
I spoke of a day when justice will reign,
And all will be equal, with no one to disdain.

What was I referring to, when I spoke of justice rolling down?
What message did I send, when I used this sound?
