SCENE: The Israelites are preparing to leave Egypt after the final plague.

Moses: The Lord has spoken. We must leave Egypt before sunrise.

Pharaoh: How dare you leave without my permission?

<Moses: We have been in slavery for too long. The Lord has set us free.

Pharaoh: I will not let my slaves go without a fight. Guards, seize them!

Israelites: The Lord is with us!

Moses: It is time to go. Remember what the Lord said in Exodus 12:18: “In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.”

Pharaoh: This is not over. I will come after you!

Moses: The Lord will protect us. Let us go and begin our journey to the promised land.
