The Persistent Widow and Crooked Judge – Evil Robot Aliens Remix…

a Remix of the Parable found in Matthew 18:1-8

Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away, there was a persistent human who stood against the evil robot aliens. The human had been wronged by the aliens and sought justice.

But the judge in charge of the case was crooked and favored the evil robot aliens. He refused to listen to the human’s pleas and continued to side with the enemy.

However, the human did not give up. She continued to bring her case to the judge, day after day, demanding justice. And eventually, even the crooked judge grew tired of her persistence.

Finally, the judge gave in and granted the human justice against the evil robot aliens. The human had proven that even against great odds, persistence and determination can bring about victory.

The moral of the story is that prayer and persistence can overcome even the greatest obstacles. Just as the persistent human did not give up, but continued to plead her case to the crooked judge, we must also be persistent in our prayer to God, who is just and faithful. So let us continue to pray and trust in God’s goodness and mercy, knowing that he will grant us justice in our time of need.

the Original Parable found in Matthew 18:1-8 (KJV)

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
