Once upon a time, there was a gamer who loved to play video games. One day, while playing his favorite game, he realized that the game had different levels – some were easy, some were moderate, and some were difficult.
The gamer started playing the easy levels, but soon he got bored and decided to move on to the moderate levels. However, as he played the moderate levels, he found that they were more challenging than he thought and struggled to progress.
Soon, the gamer grew frustrated and gave up on the moderate levels, deciding to stick to the easy ones. But as he played those easy levels over and over again, he realized he wasn’t really improving in his skills.
One day, the gamer stumbled upon a tutorial video online that taught him how to master the game. He watched the video, took notes, and applied everything he learned to the game.
As he played the game again, he saw a remarkable change in his performance. He was now able to play the moderate levels with ease and even attempted the difficult levels with confidence.
The gamer was glad that he didn’t give up on the game and continued to seek ways to improve his skills. He recognized that just like the game, life, too, has different levels of difficulties. And if he wanted to succeed in life, he needed to keep improving himself, even if it meant stepping out of his comfort zone.
The moral of this story is that if we want to succeed in life, we must be willing to take risks, learn new things, and keep growing. Just like the four different soils in the Parable of the Soils, our hearts can either be hard, shallow, thorny, or good soil – the ones who will reap rewards and blessings are the ones who continue to bear fruit and produce good yields.
