Alright folks, it’s story time with me, and today we’re talking about the ‘Lost PE Candy’ Parable!
So, picture this: You’ve just bought a fresh bag of your favorite PE Candy at the store, and you’re super excited to snack on these sweet treats. But as you’re walking home, you accidentally drop one – oh no! You look around frantically, but you can’t seem to find it.
Now, in the Bible, Jesus tells the story of a shepherd who had a flock of sheep, but one of them went missing. He left the 99 sheep that were safe and sound, and went to search for the lost one. When he found it, he joyfully brought it back to the flock.
Our ‘Lost PE Candy’ story is kind of like that, but with candy instead of sheep. You see, that one lost piece of candy might seem small and insignificant, but it’s still valuable and worth searching for. The same goes for us – we might feel like we’re just one person in a world of billions, but we’re unique and important to God.
And just like the shepherd who searched for his lost sheep, God wants to find us when we feel lost or alone. He loves us so much that he’ll never give up looking for us. So even if we feel like we’re just one lost piece of PE Candy in a big world, we can take comfort in knowing that God is still searching for us and will always welcome us back with open arms.
