In Luke 12, Jesus warns against greed and material possessions. He tells the parable of the rich fool who stored up his treasures on earth and died before he could enjoy them. Jesus encourages the disciples to trust in God’s provision and not to worry about their needs. He also warns them to be ready for his second coming, as it will come unexpectedly.
