In Revelation 8, seven angels are given seven trumpets to signal the start of God’s judgments. The first four trumpets bring destruction upon the earth and its inhabitants, including hail, fire mixed with blood, a burning mountain thrown into the sea, and a large star falling from heaven and poisoning the waters. The fifth trumpet brings forth terrifying locusts with the power to torment those who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. The sixth trumpet releases four angels bound at the River Euphrates, who lead an army of 200 million to slay a third of mankind. The chapter ends with the seventh trumpet about to sound, signaling the end of the world.
Revelation 8:12 says, "The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night." ππππ₯ππ°οΈ
This verse shows the immense power and judgment of God, as even the celestial bodies are affected by his wrath.
