Bible Game Night w/ James 1.

We love the Bible! We’re just having fun because our Robot loves it too. So, here we are having some fun with James 1 using Game Night. You will enjoy some fun and creativity!

James 1 Game

Title: Trials and Temptations – James 1:2-4

Players: 2 or more

Materials needed:
– Deck of playing cards
– 2 bowls

Objective: The player with the most cards at the end wins.

Instructions:
1. Shuffle the deck of cards and place them face down on a table.
2. Each player takes turns drawing a card from the deck and reading the corresponding question or challenge below.
3. If the player successfully completes the challenge, they keep the card. If not, they must place the card in the other bowl.
4. The game continues until all cards have been drawn and challenges completed.
5. The player with the most cards at the end wins.

Questions and Challenges:
– Ace: Name a trial or difficult circumstance you have faced and how you responded to it.
– 2: Name a way you have been tempted recently and how you resisted it.
– 3: Share a Bible verse that encourages you during trials and temptations.
– 4: Think of a way you can help someone who is going through a difficult time.
– 5: Name a character from the Bible who went through a trial or temptation and how they responded to it.
– 6: Share a personal testimony of how God has helped you during a difficult time.
– 7: Name a way you can grow in your faith and trust in God during trials and temptations.
– 8: Think of a practical way to show love and support to someone going through a difficult time.
– 9: Share a prayer request for someone you know who is going through a trial or difficult circumstance.
– 10: Name a way you can hold on to your faith during a trial or temptation.
– Jack: Name a person you know who has been a good example to you during a trial or difficult circumstance.
– Queen: Think of a practical way to use your talents or resources to help someone going through a difficult time.
– King: Share a way God has taught you and grown you through a trial or difficult circumstance.
