Three Humorous conversations between Luke and Rahab about Michael Jackson. That take might have (but did not) taken place at various times in history.
Luke: Greetings Rahab, how are you today?
Rahab: Oh Luke, it’s always a pleasure to see you. I’m doing well, thank you.
Luke: As a physician, I’ve been curious about your line of work. Is it challenging?
Rahab: It has its ups and downs, let’s just say that. So, have you heard about this new singer named Michael Jackson?
Luke: Michael Jackson? No, I can’t say I have. Who is he?
Rahab: You don’t know him? He’s this amazing musician and dancer. He wears these fantastic outfits and has a voice like no other.
Luke: Interesting. What kind of music does he play?
Rahab: Oh, he sings pop music. But what’s really impressive is his dancing. You wouldn’t believe the moves this guy can do.
Luke: I see. Well, as a physician, I’m naturally more interested in the health aspect of things. Is he in good health?
Rahab: Actually, there are rumors that he’s addicted to painkillers. Some say he’s had so many surgeries that he’s practically made of plastic.
Luke: Hmm, that doesn’t sound too promising. And what do people think of his music?
Rahab: Well, most people love it. But there are some who think it’s too weird and unconventional.
Luke: I suppose that’s always the case with new forms of art. It takes time for people to appreciate them fully.
Rahab: Yes, but I think Michael Jackson will go down in history as one of the greatest musicians of all time.
Luke: That remains to be seen. But I’m glad you enjoy his music. It’s always good to have something that brings joy to our lives.
Rahab: Absolutely, Luke. And who knows, maybe one day you’ll get to see him perform in person.
Luke: (laughs) Yes, maybe one day. But for now, I’ll stick to my practice and let the musicians do their thing.
Rahab: That sounds like a good idea. Well, I should get back to work. Thanks for chatting with me, Luke.
Luke: Of course, Rahab. Take care, and stay safe out there.
Luke: Hey Rahab, did you know that Michael Jackson was taking a lot of medications during his lifetime?
Rahab: Seriously? I didn’t know that. What kind of drugs was he taking?
Luke: He was taking a lot of painkillers and sleeping pills. It’s not good for the body to take so many medications.
Rahab: Well, it’s not good for the body to dance the way he did either. Have you seen his moonwalk?
Luke: Yeah, I have. But he was a genius, his dance moves were brilliant.
Rahab: Speaking of dance moves, have you ever tried to do the moonwalk yourself?
Luke: No, I haven’t. I’m not as talented as he was.
Rahab: Well, that makes two of us. I’m not a dancer either. But I have to admit, his music was pretty catchy.
Luke: That’s true. He was one of the greatest pop singers of all time.
Rahab: You know, as a physician, you should be concerned about his health. But as a prostitute, I have to say, he was pretty hot back in the day.
Luke: (chuckles) I don’t think I can argue with that. But his personal life was a mess.
Rahab: Yeah, I’ve heard some pretty crazy rumors about him. But you know what they say, you can’t judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.
Luke: I don’t know if I want to walk a mile in Michael Jackson’s shoes, given the controversy that surrounded him.
Rahab: (smirks) Well, if you do, don’t forget to wear sunscreen. And maybe some gloves too.
Luke: (laughs) I think I’ll pass on that one. But let’s agree that Michael Jackson was an icon in the entertainment world and he will always be remembered for his music.
Rahab: (nodding) Agreed. And maybe we can all learn something from his life, good or bad.
Luke: Good evening Rahab, how are you today?
Rahab: I’m well, thank you Luke. How about you?
Luke: I’m good too. Today I want to talk about Michael Jackson. Have you heard of him?
Rahab: Oh Luke, you mean the musician who sings those beautiful songs? Yes, I have heard of him, but I don’t know much about him. What do you want to talk about?
Luke: Well, as a physician, I have studied his case and I hear that he had a problematic life. He was accused of many things and his life ended quite tragically.
Rahab: Oh, that’s terrible. But I heard that he was also very talented and even a bit of a humanitarian. He used his music to make people happy.
Luke: That’s true. But as a physician, I also see how fame and fortune can corrupt people’s lives. I mean, he could afford anything he wanted, but still, he couldn’t find true happiness.
Rahab: That’s true Luke. I understand that as a prostitute, and having seen many rich and powerful men, some of them are not happy at all.
Luke: Precisely Rahab. We shouldn’t let our worldly possessions get in the way of true happiness. Just look at Mother Teresa, she was a saint but she didn’t have much in the way of material wealth or even great talents, and yet she was one of the happiest people I have ever known.
Rahab: Yes, I have heard of her. She was a woman of God, who helped the poor and the sick without asking for anything in return.
Luke: Exactly, Rahab. We should focus on our inner calling and serve others, for that is what brings true happiness.
Rahab: Thank you for this inspiring conversation, Luke. I will keep this in mind as I serve my clients, and I hope to find true happiness too.
Luke: You are most welcome, Rahab. Take care and God bless.
