Once upon a time, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles found themselves diving into the pages of the Bible to learn about the end of the world. The book of Revelation was a bit confusing to them, but with their ninja skills and smarts, they tackled it head-on.
The book started off with John, a follower of Jesus, receiving visions from God about the future. The turtles were initially intrigued, but soon became overwhelmed with the imagery of beasts and plagues described in the book.
One of the main characters in Revelation is a creature called the Antichrist, who rises to power and causes chaos on earth. The turtles immediately recognized him as their arch-nemesis, Shredder, and were terrified at the thought of him becoming ruler of the world.
As the book progressed, the turtles learned about the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets, and Seven Bowls of Wrath, which described various events leading up to the end of the world. They were particularly interested in the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who were described as bringing war, famine, disease, and death to the world.
In the end, the turtles learned that Jesus would return to defeat the Antichrist and save the world. They were relieved to hear this news and felt a sense of comfort knowing that good would ultimately triumph over evil.
As they closed the book of Revelation, Michelangelo quipped, “Well dudes, I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna start practicing my hallelujahs.” The rest of the turtles chuckled, happy to have tackled such a challenging text and come out with a newfound understanding of the end of the world.
