This is a fictional Bible reading. Bart Simpson did not actually make this Bible reading.

So, like, the Israelites were all slaves in Egypt and this dude named Moses shows up and starts talking to a burning bush. The bush tells him to tell Pharaoh to let his people go. At first, Pharaoh’s like, “No way, dude.” And then things start getting all crazy with plagues of frogs and locusts and boils and stuff. Finally, Pharaoh’s like, “Get outta here!” So the Israelites book it and Moses leads them through the Red Sea, which magically parts for them. But then they get lost in the desert for like, forty years and have to eat this weird bread called manna. Oh, and there’s this golden calf incident that really ticks off God. Anyway, they finally make it to the Promised Land and everyone’s happy.

And then Bart Simpson says, “I bet Moses was glad to finally ditch the sand and get some lush views with flowing milk and honey!”
