Treasure of Contentment – a 1 Timothy 6 Craft

Materials Needed:

• Small treasure chest or box
• Gold paint or spray paint
• Paintbrush
• Printed copies of 1 Timothy 6:6-8
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Small strips of paper
• Pen

Instructions:

1. Paint the outside of the treasure chest or box with gold paint.
2. Cut out the printed copies of 1 Timothy 6:6-8 into small strips.
3. Use the glue stick to adhere the strips of paper to the inside of the treasure chest or box.
4. Write on the small strips of paper things that bring you contentment and happiness in life. Examples could include spending time with loved ones, reading a good book, or going for a walk in nature.
5. Fold the small strips of paper and place them inside the treasure chest or box.
6. Place the treasure chest or box in a prominent location in your home as a reminder of the treasure of contentment found in 1 Timothy 6:6-8.
