The Seals Unveiled – a Revelation 6 Craft

Materials Needed:

• White paper (8.5×11 inches)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers or colored pencils
• Printout of Revelation 6 (optional)
• Wooden skewer or toothpick

Instructions:

1. Cut the white paper into four equal pieces.
2. On each piece of paper, draw a seal using markers or colored pencils. The seals can be based on the descriptions in Revelation 6 or your own interpretation.
3. Cut out each seal carefully with scissors.
4. Take one of the seals and fold it in half, with the design facing outwards. Glue the two halves together, leaving a small opening at the top.
5. Repeat step 4 with the other three seals.
6. Print out Revelation 6 and read through the chapter.
7. Using the wooden skewer or toothpick, poke a small hole at the top of each seal.
8. String a piece of string or yarn through the holes of the seals, tying a knot at each end.
9. Hang the seals in order from 1-4, according to the order they are revealed in Revelation 6.
10. As you look at each seal, reflect on the meaning behind it and what it represents.

This craft is a great way to engage with the powerful imagery and symbolism in Revelation 6, and can be a helpful tool for personal reflection or group discussion.
