Seeds of Faith – a Mark 4 Craft
Materials Needed:
- Popsicle sticks
- Glue
- Markers or paint
- Small plastic or paper cups
- Soil
- Seeds (such as flower or vegetable)
Instructions:
- Begin by decorating the popsicle sticks with markers or paint. Write a message of faith, such as "Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains" or "Planting seeds of faith".
- Glue three popsicle sticks together in a triangle shape to form a small planter box.
- Fill the planter box with soil.
- Plant a seed in the soil and water it according to the directions on the seed packet.
- Write or print out a verse from Mark 4, such as "The farmer sows the word" or "Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop".
- Attach the verse to the popsicle stick planter box using glue or tape.
- Repeat these steps to create multiple Seeds of Faith planters.
- Display the planters as a reminder to have faith and to spread the word of God.
Variations:
- Use different colored popsicle sticks or add stickers for more variety.
- Instead of popsicle sticks, use small terra cotta pots or mason jars.
- Use different types of seeds for each planter, such as flowers, vegetables, or herbs.
