"Revelation Relics" – a 2 Thessalonians 2 Craft

Materials Needed:

• Small glass or plastic jars with lids
• White paper
• Black marker or pen
• Scissors
• Glue
• Glitter or metallic confetti
• Optional: small trinkets or items to put inside the jars (such as small crystals, beads, or other symbolic items)

Instructions:

1. Cut out small strips of paper, about 1 inch wide and 3-4 inches long.
2. Using the black marker or pen, write out phrases or verses from 2 Thessalonians 2 that speak to you or that you find particularly meaningful. Examples might include:

• "The man of lawlessness will be revealed"
• "The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan"
• "God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved"
• "Stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught"

3. Fold the paper strips accordion-style, so that the words are visible on the outside.
4. Glue each folded strip onto the inside of a jar, so that it forms a circular shape.
5. Sprinkle glitter or confetti over the paper, allowing it to stick to the glue and create a sparkly effect.
6. If desired, place small trinkets or items inside the jar before closing the lid.
7. Repeat steps 2-6 for as many jars as you would like to make.
8. Display your "Revelation Relics" on a shelf or table as a reminder of the powerful messages contained within 2 Thessalonians 2.
