Radiant Bride – an Ephesians 5 Craft
The Bible passage Ephesians 5:25-27 describes how a husband should love his wife, and how a wife should submit to her husband. It also talks about how the church is the bride of Christ, and how He loves and cherishes her. This craft is inspired by the idea of a radiant bride, loved and cherished by her bridegroom.
Materials needed:
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Gold or silver glitter glue
- Small rhinestones or gems
- Markers or colored pencils
Instructions:
- Fold the paper or cardstock in half to make a card.
- Draw or print out a simple silhouette of a bride in a wedding dress.
- Cut out the silhouette and glue it onto the front of the card.
- Use the glitter glue to add details to the bride’s dress, hair, and veil.
- Stick rhinestones or gems onto the dress and veil to represent the radiance of the bride.
- Write the Bible verse Ephesians 5:25-27 on the inside of the card, or a personalized message to a bride-to-be.
Optional:
- Add a small veil made of tulle or lace fabric to the bride’s head.
- Use metallic markers to write the verse or message on the card for an extra special touch.
- Use different shades of glitter glue to create an ombre effect on the bride’s dress.
This craft is a beautiful reminder of how we can be radiant brides, loved and cherished by our bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
