Passover Pouches – a Mark 14 Craft

Materials:

  • Brown paper bags
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers or colored pencils
  • Small pieces of paper

Instructions:

  1. Cut the brown paper bags into small rectangles, about 4 inches by 6 inches.
  2. Fold the rectangles in half so that the shorter sides meet.
  3. Glue the longer sides of the rectangles together, leaving the shorter side open.
  4. Decorate the front of the pouches with markers or colored pencils. You can draw symbols of Passover or scenes from the Mark 14 story.
  5. Cut small pieces of paper to write down prayers or things you are grateful for.
  6. Slip the pieces of paper into the pouches and fold the top over to secure them inside.
  7. Use the Passover pouches during your Passover celebration to remember the story of Mark 14 and to reflect on your own blessings and gratitude.

Enjoy your Passover Pouches and have a blessed celebration!
