New Heaven & Earth – a Revelation 21 Craft
Materials
- Blue construction paper
- Green construction paper
- Brown construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Markers or crayons
Instructions
- Cut a large circle out of the blue construction paper.
- Cut out several cloud shapes from the white construction paper and glue them onto the blue circle.
- Cut out a large tree shape from the brown construction paper and glue it onto the bottom of the blue circle.
- Cut out several leaf shapes from the green construction paper and glue them onto the tree branches.
- Use markers or crayons to draw animals and people on the blue circle, representing the new creation described in Revelation 21.
- Write "New Heaven & Earth" on the top of the craft.
Reflection
As you create this craft, consider the hope and promise of a new creation that is described in Revelation 21. Think about what it means to live in a world where there is no more pain, sorrow, or death. How can we work towards creating a more just and peaceful world that reflects the values of this new creation?
