New Covenant Necklace – a Hebrews 8 Craft
In Hebrews 8, God promises to make a new covenant with His people. To celebrate this promise, create a necklace using the following supplies:
- String
- Wooden beads
- Small clay tablets (or paper cut into small rectangles)
- Alphabet stamps or markers
- Bible verse stickers or markers
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut a length of string to your desired necklace length.
- String wooden beads onto the string, leaving space in between each bead for the clay tablets.
- Using alphabet stamps or markers, write out the words "New Covenant" on one side of the clay tablets.
- On the other side of the clay tablets, write out a verse from Hebrews 8, such as "I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people." (Hebrews 8:10)
- Add Bible verse stickers or use markers to decorate the wooden beads.
- Tie off the ends of the string to create a necklace.
