Love-Inspired – a 1 John 4 Craft

Supplies:

• White cardstock paper
• Red and pink paint
• Paintbrush
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Black marker
• Ribbon

Instructions:

1. Begin by painting the white cardstock paper with red and pink paint. Use a paintbrush to create a textured look with overlapping colors.
2. Let the painted paper dry completely.
3. Cut out heart shapes from the painted paper. You can create different sizes and shapes to add variety to your craft.
4. Use the black marker to write different verses from 1 John 4 on the heart shapes. For example, "God is love" or "Love one another".
5. Once you have written all the verses on the heart shapes, use a glue stick to attach them to a ribbon in a random order.
6. Hang the ribbon in a visible place as a reminder of God’s love and the importance of love in our lives.

Optional:

• You can add glitter or other embellishments to the hearts for extra sparkle and dimension.
• You can also add a Bible verse reference on each heart to help you memorize the verses.
