Love Abounds – a 2 John Craft

Supplies Needed:

• Cardstock paper (white or colored)
• Scissors
• Glue or tape
• Markers or colored pencils

Instructions:

1. Cut the cardstock paper into small squares, about 2 inches by 2 inches each.
2. On each square, write a word or phrase from 2 John that relates to love and God’s commandments. Examples include: "love one another," "walk in truth," "follow His commands," "abide in love," etc.
3. Once you have written a phrase on each square, arrange them on a larger piece of cardstock in a heart shape.
4. Glue or tape the squares onto the larger cardstock to create the heart shape.
5. Optional: add additional decorations, such as glitter or stickers, to your Love Abounds craft.
6. Display your finished craft as a reminder to love one another and follow God’s commandments.

Variations:

• Use different colors of paper for each word or phrase to create a colorful heart.
• Instead of a heart shape, arrange the squares in the shape of a cross.
• Write a short prayer or reflection on the back of each square to make the craft more personal.
