Jordan River Wreath – a Luke 3 Craft

Materials:

• Grapevine wreath
• Blue and white ribbon
• Small fake river rocks
• Small fake white flowers
• Small fake green leaves
• Glue gun

Instructions:

1. Tie blue and white ribbon around the grapevine wreath in a criss-cross pattern to represent the Jordan River.
2. Glue small fake river rocks around the bottom half of the wreath.
3. Glue small fake white flowers around the top half of the wreath to represent the dove that descended upon Jesus.
4. Glue small fake green leaves around the wreath to represent the trees growing along the banks of the Jordan River.
5. Hang the wreath on a door or wall as a reminder of John the Baptist’s message in Luke 3 to prepare the way for the Lord and to repent of our sins.
