Healing Hands – a Mark 3 Craft
In Mark 3 of the Bible, Jesus healed a man with a withered hand. This craft is inspired by that story and encourages children to use their hands to bring healing to others.
Materials Needed
- Small wooden plaques or pieces of cardboard
- Paint or markers
- Glue
- Bandages or adhesive tape
- Scissors
Instructions
- Have children paint or decorate their wooden plaques or pieces of cardboard with symbols of healing, such as hearts, crosses, or hands.
- Using scissors, cut out handprints from the bandages or adhesive tape.
- Glue the handprints onto the plaques or cardboard, positioning them where the hands would be.
- Encourage children to hold their Healing Hands craft and to pray for those in need of healing, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.
