Harmony Wreath – a James 4 Craft
Inspired by James 4:1-10
Materials
- Wreath frame (either foam or wire)
- Artificial flowers and greenery (enough to cover the wreath frame)
- Ribbon
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Scissors
Instructions
Start by covering the wreath frame with artificial greenery. Use the glue gun to attach the greenery to the wreath frame, making sure to cover the entire frame.
Next, add your artificial flowers to the wreath. Choose colors that represent harmony and peace. You can glue the flowers directly onto the greenery or use stems to attach them to the wreath.
Once you have added all of your flowers, cut a long piece of ribbon to create a bow. Tie the bow and cut the ends at an angle.
Use the glue gun to attach the bow to the bottom of the wreath.
Finally, write the following verse on a small piece of paper: "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Attach the paper to the top of the wreath using the glue gun.
Your Harmony Wreath is now complete! Hang it on your front door or in a prominent place in your home as a reminder to seek harmony and peace in all areas of your life by drawing near to God.
