Instructions

  1. Start by drawing a large outline of a heart on the white paper or cardstock with your pencil.

  3. Next, cut the heart shape in half vertically.
  4. On one half of the heart, write the word "old" at the top and on the other half, write the word "new" at the top.
  5. On the "old" half of the heart, draw or write things that represent your old self before you became a Christian. This could be negative traits, bad habits, or things you struggle with.
  6. On the "new" half of the heart, draw or write things that represent your new self after becoming a Christian. This could be positive traits, new habits, or things you are working on improving.
  7. Glue the two halves of the heart together, with the "new" half on top of the "old" half.
  8. Decorate the heart with markers or crayons as desired.
  9. Optional: Hold the heart up to a small mirror and reflect on the changes God has brought about in your life through His Spirit.
