Gifts of Grace – a 1 Corinthians 12 Craft

Gifts of Grace – a 1 Corinthians 12 Craft

Materials

  • Small wooden blocks or pieces of wood
  • Paint or markers
  • Glue
  • Decorative items such as stickers, beads, glitter, or ribbon

Instructions

  1. Start by painting or coloring your wooden blocks in different colors to represent the diversity of the gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12.
  2. Once the paint or markers have dried, add words or symbols that represent each gift. For example, you could add the word "wisdom" or draw an ear to represent the gift of listening.
  3. Next, use glue to attach decorative items to the blocks. Add glitter for the gift of joy, beads for the gift of faith, or ribbon for the gift of service.
  4. Once the glue has dried, stack the blocks on top of each other in a pyramid shape. You can use more glue to secure them in place if needed.
  5. Display your Gifts of Grace pyramid on a shelf or table as a reminder of the unique gifts that each person has been given by God.

Bible Verse

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
