Explanation
This craft is based on the story in Matthew 4 where Jesus calls his first disciples, Simon and Andrew, and tells them that he will make them "fishers of men". The popsicle stick base represents a boat, and the crossed sticks with string symbolize a fishing net. The craft can be hung as a reminder of Jesus’s call to share the good news with others and to lead them to Christ.
