"Fishers of Faith" – a Mark 1 Craft
Materials Needed:
- Wooden dowels
- Twine
- Fishing line
- Small fish-shaped cutouts
- Glue
- Markers or paint
- Scissors
- Bible verses printed or written on paper
Instructions:
- Cut the wooden dowels into equal lengths and glue them together in the shape of a fishing net.
- Using the twine, attach fishing line to the net, creating the look of a real fishing net.
- Glue the small fish-shaped cutouts onto the fishing line, making them look like they’re caught in the net.
- Using markers or paint, decorate the net with colorful designs and patterns.
- Cut out Bible verses and attach them to the net using twine or glue.
- Hang the "Fishers of Faith" craft in a prominent location in your home or church to remind everyone of the importance of spreading the message of Jesus, just like the disciples did in Mark 1.
Note: This craft can also be used as a teaching tool for children’s Sunday school lessons, VBS, or youth groups.
