"Faithful Shepherd" – a 1 Peter 5 Craft
Materials Needed:
- White pipe cleaners
- Black pipe cleaners
- Brown yarn
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- Take three white pipe cleaners and twist them together in the middle to form the body of the shepherd.
- Take two black pipe cleaners and twist them together at one end to form the legs of the shepherd. Repeat for the other side.
- Wrap the black pipe cleaners around the middle of the white pipe cleaners to attach the legs.
- Cut a small piece of brown yarn and glue it onto the top of the shepherd’s head to form hair.
- Cut a longer piece of brown yarn and wrap it around the top of the white pipe cleaners to form the shepherd’s robe, leaving space for the arms to come out.
- Cut two small pieces of brown yarn and glue them onto the sides of the shepherd’s head to form the ears.
- Cut another small piece of brown yarn and wrap it around the shepherd’s waist to create a belt.
- Bend the ends of the white pipe cleaners to form arms and shape them as desired.
- Optional: Add a small cross to the shepherd’s hand using thin wire or string.
