Faithful Pearls – a Matthew 15 Craft
Materials:
- Large bag of small pearls
- Elastic string
- Scissors
- Bible verse labels
- Glue
Instructions:
- Cut the elastic string to the desired length for a bracelet or necklace.
- String the pearls onto the elastic string until it is full.
- Tie the elastic string ends together to secure the pearls.
- Cut the excess string.
- On each pearl, carefully glue a Bible verse label related to faithfulness. Some suggestions from Matthew 15 are:
"These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." – Matthew 15:8
"But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them." – Matthew 15:18
"Faith can move mountains." – Matthew 17:20
- Allow the glue to dry and wear your faithful pearls as a reminder to always honor God with your heart as well as your words.
