Faithful Labor – a 1 Thessalonians 1 Craft
Materials Needed
- A piece of cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers or colored pencils
- Printed or handwritten copy of 1 Thessalonians 1:3
Instructions
Begin by cutting the piece of cardstock or construction paper into the shape of a hammer.
On one side of the hammer, write "Faithful Labor" in big, bold letters.
On the other side of the hammer, write or draw something that represents your own work and labor. This could be something related to your job, school, or hobbies.
Cut out the printed or handwritten copy of 1 Thessalonians 1:3 into a small rectangle.
Using glue, attach the piece of paper with the Bible verse to the handle of the hammer.
Take a few moments to reflect on the meaning of the verse and how it applies to your own life and work.
Use the markers or colored pencils to decorate the hammer however you like.
Hang your faithful labor hammer somewhere visible as a reminder of the importance of working diligently and faithfully.
