"Faithful Finisher" – a Hebrews 12 Craft

Materials:

• Construction paper or cardstock
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers or pens
• Ribbon or twine

Instructions:

1. Cut out a large oval shape from the construction paper or cardstock. This will be the base of your craft.
2. On the top of the oval, write the phrase "Faithful Finisher" using the markers or pens.
3. Cut out small shapes of a runner and a finish line from the construction paper or cardstock.
4. Glue the runner to the bottom of the oval, as if they are running towards the finish line.
5. Glue the finish line to the end of the oval, next to the runner.
6. On the sides of the oval, write the following Bible verse from Hebrews 12:1-2:

   "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

7. Cut a piece of ribbon or twine and tie it around the top of the oval to create a hanger.

Optional:

• Add glitter or sequins to the craft to make it sparkle and shine.
• Use different colors of construction paper or cardstock to make the craft more colorful.
• Personalize the craft by writing your name or the name of someone you want to give it to on the bottom of the oval.
