Eternal Unity – a John 17 Craft
Materials Needed:
- Construction paper (various colors)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers or crayons
- Optional: stickers or other decorative items
Instructions:
- Begin by reading John 17 from the Bible.
- Cut out two large hearts from different colored construction paper.
- Cut out smaller hearts in various colors.
- On one of the large hearts, write "Jesus" and on the other heart, write "Believers".
- On the smaller hearts, write different names for believers (e.g. "John", "Mary", "Peter", etc.).
- Glue the smaller hearts onto the heart labeled "Believers".
- Cut out a strip of paper and write "John 17" on it.
- Glue the strip of paper in between the two hearts to create a banner.
- Optional: decorate with stickers or other decorative items.
- Display the craft as a reminder of the eternal unity we have with Jesus and with one another as believers.
Additional Ideas:
- Use different shades of the same color for the hearts to create a gradient effect.
- Write different Bible verses on the smaller hearts to personalize the craft.
- Instead of hearts, cut out crosses or other religious symbols.
