Divine Majesty Candle Holder – a Hebrews 2 Craft
Materials:
- Glass jar or vase
- Gold spray paint
- Adhesive vinyl or gold foil stickers
- Tea light candle
Instructions:
- Clean and dry the glass jar or vase.
- Apply the adhesive vinyl or gold foil stickers to the outside of the jar or vase. You can use Hebrews 2:7-8 or any other scripture related to the majesty of God.
- Spray paint the jar or vase with gold paint. Make sure to cover the entire surface and let it dry completely.
- Once dry, remove the vinyl or stickers to reveal the scripture in gold.
- Place a tea light candle inside the jar or vase and light it. Enjoy the beautiful glow and reminder of God’s divine majesty.
This craft is inspired by Hebrews 2:7-8, which reminds us of God’s great power and glory: "You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them." This candle holder is a beautiful reminder of God’s majesty and our place in His creation.
