Divine Majesty – a Hebrews 1 Craft
Materials:
- Construction paper (black, gold, and white)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers or colored pencils
Instructions:
- Cut a rectangle out of the black construction paper to serve as the background for your craft.
- Cut out a large circle from the gold construction paper to represent the sun and glue it in the center of the black rectangle.
- Cut out several smaller circles from the gold construction paper and glue them around the larger circle to represent stars.
- Cut out a crown shape from the white construction paper and glue it above the sun to represent Jesus’ divine majesty.
- Using markers or colored pencils, write out Hebrews 1:3 on the black background: "The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word."
- Display your finished craft as a reminder of Jesus’ divine majesty and power.
Note: This craft can be adapted for children or adults by adjusting the difficulty of the shapes and the level of detail in the drawing.
