- Using a larger paintbrush, paint over the entire cross with gold paint. Allow it to dry completely.
- Print out the Bible verse of 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 on a piece of paper and cut it into strips.
- Using a glue gun, attach the strips of paper to the back of the crosses so that the verse is visible when the cross is hung up.
Purpose
This craft serves as a reminder of the power of the cross and the message of 1 Corinthians 1. The distressed look represents the difficulties and struggles in life that may cause us to question our faith, but the gold symbolizes the hope and glory that awaits us in Christ. The Bible verse serves as a daily reminder of the wisdom and strength that comes from God alone.
