Materials Needed

• Wooden crosses
• Paint (white, gold, and black)
• Paintbrushes
• Bible verse printouts of 1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Instructions

1. Paint the wooden crosses white and let them dry completely.
2. Using a small paintbrush, paint the edges and details of the crosses with gold paint. Allow it to dry.
3. Paint over the gold details with black paint and immediately wipe with a damp paper towel to create a distressed look. Allow it to dry completely.
4. Using a larger paintbrush, paint over the entire cross with gold paint. Allow it to dry completely.
5. Print out the Bible verse of 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 on a piece of paper and cut it into strips.
6. Using a glue gun, attach the strips of paper to the back of the crosses so that the verse is visible when the cross is hung up.
