"Abiding in Love" – A 1 John 2 Craft

Materials:

• Construction paper (red, pink, or white)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers or crayons
• Bible (1 John 2)

Instructions:

1. Read 1 John 2 from the Bible.
2. Cut out a heart shape from construction paper.
3. On the heart, write the words "Abiding in Love" and decorate it with markers or crayons.
4. Cut out small hearts from construction paper.
5. On each small heart, write a word or phrase from 1 John 2 that speaks about abiding in love (such as "love one another," "keep his commandments," or "walk as Jesus walked").
6. Glue the small hearts around the big heart in a circular pattern.
7. Hang up your "Abiding in Love" craft to remind yourself to love others and follow God’s commands.
