Yo, listen up, I got a story to tell,
In these earthen vessels, we hide a jewel that’s swell.
We may be cracked and broken, but that’s okay,
God’s power shines through in a special way.
Troubles may come, they try to knock us down,
But we ain’t giving up, we won’t wear a frown.
Perplexed, but not despairing, we won’t lose sight,
God’s got our back, giving us strength day and night.
At times, we may feel persecuted and struck by strife,
But we refuse to give in, we’ll keep living this life.
We might get knocked down, but we’ll rise once more,
God’s got our back, He’s the one we adore.
Though we may face hardships, they won’t break our soul,
In every situation, God’s love makes us whole.
So keep your head up, my friends, don’t ever quit,
With God on our side, we’re gonna make it!
